K-LINE Electric Trains

Based in Chapel Hill, North Carolina, MDK, Inc. was founded in 1974 by Maury D. Klein. MDK sold electric trains under the K-LINE brand. In the mid-1980's, MDK purchased the former Kusan boxcar, caboose, flatcar, gondola, hopper, searchlight and tank car tooling from Williams Electric Trains.

K-LINE U.S. Army Desert Storm 6652 Patriot Missile flatcar. The Patriot missile is labelled "Scud Buster" on the other side. This flatcar mold was previously used by Kusan Model Trains and Williams Electric Trains.
