Kris Gandy•Dancer Boxcar

Gandy dancer was a slang term used to describe early railroad workers who laid and maintained railroad tracks. In 1969, the former Michigan Central Railroad depot in Ann Arbor, Michigan was transformed into the Gandy•Dancer restaurant. The gandy dancer picture on the car below matches the restaurant logo. There are no Gandy•Dancer or V & C listings in the Kris Model Trains chapter of Greenberg's Guide to Kusan Trains.
