Kusan K-Series Drop Center Flatcars

With the exception of the Compressortron cars, K-Series drop center flatcars were assigned the 460 - 461 series of catalog numbers. Variations include different color shades for cases and flatcars. Compressortrons were assigned to the 900 series.

THRUST REACTION MOTOR FRAGILE. The car rattles when shaken. More than likely small weights were placed inside the cases to give the car more weight.

Dynamic Injection Compressortron on a dark gray and yellow flatcar

Kusan catalog number 901. U.S. Army 123 Dynamic Injection Compressortron on a dark gray and yellow drop center flatcar. Two electrical leads on the front plug into the rear of a specially-designed Kusan Alco locomotive. A motorized blower inside the gray superstructure keeps a polystyrene foam satellite suspended in the air as it travels around the layout. There are two male electrical spade connectors protruding from the rear to accept wiring from a trailing searchlight car. This car was included with Satellite Train set KF-119.
