Lionel # 419 Heliport Control Tower

Lionel # 419 Heliport Control Tower

Previous      Next

A helicopter is ready to take off from the roof of a postwar Lionel # 419 Heliport Control Tower. For the helicopter to launch, the black winder under the helicopter is wound. The metal ring protruding from the bottom of the Heliport is then pulled to release the winder, allowing the helicopter to take off. The roof of the heliport is about the same height as the tallest trestles in a postwar Lionel # 110 trestle set.
