Here is a Lionel # 345 Culvert Pipe Unloader on the left and # 342 Culvert Pipe Loader to the right. Using a magnet, the unloader lifts a culvert pipe from the specially-designed red gondola. The culvert pipe is unloaded to a ramp and rolls down to the culvert loader. The loader mechanism grabs the culvert pipe and loads it into a waiting gondola. Photo taken September 2005.
