This is a photo of my first west coast apartment layout. A pretty bare bones effort -- stark, unpainted 4' x 4' plywood board with an upper and lower level. Though I was able to display a fair number of trains, this left operation impossible at times due to gridlock. The trains parked in the center weren't even on tracks. Was also tough to get to the TV! Typical toy train bachelor's pad.
