Kusan Mexican The Explorer Train Set

Kusan called this set El Explorador or The Explorer. The set catalog number is DT-140. Teal blue and silver color scheme. Most of the lettering and graphics are stamped.

U.S. 135 locomotive

Kusan Mexican production U.S. 135 Alco locomotive 21938. It has a diecast chassis and black high stack necessary to accommodate a higher profile motor. There are two male electrical connectors on the rear of the locomotive for attaching Dynamic Injection Compressortron wiring. Dynamic Injection Compressortron

Kusan Mexican production USAX 123 Dynamic Injection Compressortron TL-763 drop center flatcar. Two female electrical connectors on the wires plug into the rear of the Alco locomotive. A motorized blower inside the gray superstructure keeps a "satellite" suspended in air as it travels around the layout. Two male electrical spade connectors protruding from the rear can accept wiring from a trailing searchlight car. Lettering and graphics on the gray superstructure are decals. Searchlight Car

Kusan Mexican production U.S.A. 401098 searchlight car. The two female electrical leads plug into the rear of the Dynamic Injection Compressortron flatcar. The other side of the superstructure is stamped RADAR SCANNER 120. The searchlight illuminates and rotates as the train travels down the track. US Army flatcar with USAF rocket

Kusan Mexican production U.S. Army 401098 flatcar with a U.S. Air Force 938 V-9 rocket. The teal blue flatcar has two silver missile supports and white lettering. Rocket lettering and graphics were applied with decals. There is a small white rectangular "Mexico" sticker on the car bottom.

Kusan Mexican production US Space Research 35543 caboose. Teal blue and silver painted plastic body with white and blue lettering and graphics. There is a small white rectangular "Mexico" sticker on the car bottom.
