Kusan Mexican The Explorer Train Set

Kusan called this set El Explorador or The Explorer. The set catalog number is DT-140. Teal blue and silver color scheme. Most of the lettering and graphics are stamped.

Kusan Mexican production U.S. 135 Alco locomotive 21938. It has a diecast chassis and black high stack necessary to accommodate a higher profile motor. There are two male electrical connectors on the rear of the locomotive for attaching Dynamic Injection Compressortron wiring. Kusan Mexican production USAX 123 Dynamic Injection Compressortron TL-763 drop center flatcar. Two female electrical connectors on the wires plug into the rear of the Alco locomotive. A motorized blower inside the gray superstructure keeps a "satellite" suspended in air as it travels around the layout. Two male electrical spade connectors protruding from the rear can accept wiring from a trailing searchlight car. Lettering and graphics on the gray superstructure are decals.
